Zahid F. Sarder Saddi is a political advisor, diplomat, and foreign policy expert with over two decades of experience shaping U.S.–Bangladesh relations and broader Indo-Pacific strategy. He has served as Foreign Advisor to the Prime Minister of Bangladesh, Hon. Begum Khaleda Zia, and as a Special Envoy. In these roles, he has led high-level diplomatic engagement and political strategy on the global stage. Mr. Saddi also holds the position of Director of Foreign Affairs at Range19, a U.S.-based global leader in security, risk management, and specialized defense solutions. Range19 operates across five continents, providing protection, tactical training, crisis response, and custom defense systems through a team of elite former U.S. and international military professionals. In this capacity, he supports international strategic partnerships and defense diplomacy initiatives. A trusted voice in Washington, D.C., Mr. Saddi has briefed intelligence and security officials, provided expert testimony before the U.S. Congress, and collaborated with leading institutions on counterterrorism and efforts to combat radical extremism. Known for his bipartisan influence and strategic insight, Saddi plays a vital role in advancing U.S. interests in South Asia while helping bridge America’s strategic objectives with regional stability.
Mr. Saddi also serves on the board of the U.S.-based company Quality Petroleum & Energy as a Director. When not in Washington, D.C., or traveling for advocacy and professional engagements, he resides in Florida with his wife, Lyudmila Sarder, M.D.—a United States Congressional Award–winning physician specializing in internal medicine—and their sons, William and Edward.
